Online and blended learning methods serve as a great learning option for many students. Students are able to learn in a personalized fashion, with increased flexibility in their learning environments. There is, however, a need to determine how each learner can be fully supported in the online space. Technology can be a great tool, but can also be a blinder to our students’ needs. Teachers and online coordinators need to work hard to establish procedures and processes to support struggling students.

Interventions for online and blended classrooms can look different and take time to establish. Come to the MACUL Pre-Conference “Tools and Tips for Online and Blended RTI and MTSS” to see how two talented educators are working with students in the online and blended space, with literacy and MTSS intervention strategies. Be prepared to leave with many resources and tools that you can use immediately in your practice. Don’t miss this awesome opportunity to collaborate and learn! We asked our presenters, Emily and Erin, to share a little about themselves, where they work and why they are excited about MACUL. Here’s what they had to say.
