Nearly 40 K-12 student teams, representing their schools from around the state, will demonstrate how technology can enhance teaching and learning at this year’s Student Technology Showcase at the Michigan Capitol on Wednesday, December 2, 2015. This event is sponsored by MACUL, MVU, and AT&T.
It is an opportunity for teachers and students to present to lawmakers the importance of technology integration into the classroom through projects designed and created by students at all levels of K-12 education. The event is also a chance for teams move about the rotunda of the Capitol, exploring the presentations of students from other districts, growing their digital literacy knowledge, and discovering the possibilities of other technology integrations into school projects and curriculum.
The structure is in place and the environment is perfect for educators and students to share their unique stories with state legislators regarding the importance of students having ongoing technology-enhanced learning experiences. Students are our best advocates!
