The 16th annual AT&T/MACUL/MVU Student Technology Showcase took place December 7, 2016 in the rotunda of the Michigan State Capitol building. The event featured nearly 40 student teams from around the state that showcased students demonstrating the use of classroom technology. This is a series to highlight the participating teams. Articles were submitted by each team.
The Violet Elementary School student team project featured at the 16th Annual STS at the Capitol focused on Photo Peach presentations.
The students learned about The Three Fires of Michigan, the Ojibwa, Potawatomi and the Odawa tribes. They created a Photo Peach presentation on The Three Fires.
The students then shared their learning through the presentation on chromebooks.
“We can research and share what we learned. Its a lot of fun!” – 3rd grader Lilian Wallace.
