The Need for PD: Support for Principals and Educational Leaders

The MACUL Special Interest Group for Administrators (SIG ADMIN) is lead by a team of building level and central office level administrators from across the state of Michigan who are passionate about improving student and staff learning through the use of technology.

We believe that “savvy” use of technology allows us to leverage the skills, strengths, and learning styles of our students and staff to improve student learning outcomes. Therefore, we are focusing our efforts this year on helping administrators across the state of Michigan to become “Tech Savvy Administrators.”

We are starting our work this year by asking you, the experts in the field, how we can better tailor our services to your needs through this survey.

Currently, on our website, we have links to some great interviews with technology leaders in the state of Michigan.  These short interviews – we know how busy your day is – are designed to share the thinking of these leaders with you in a time sensitive format.  We will bring a new interview to you each month.

As fellow administrators, we understand the challenges you face with countless initiatives to be implemented. Our goal is to make your life easier and more effective by providing you resources and support that can be utilized immediately.
